Supporting World Vision
I am proud to be supporting World Vision with the release of this calendar. All profits from sales will be donated to World Vision’s Haiti Earthquake Emergency Appeal.
In January 2010, a magnitude 7.0 earthquake struck the Caribbean nation of Haiti, in the south of the country, devastating its capital Port-au-Prince. It’s estimated that over 250,000 lives were lost with a further 3 million people affected and a million people left homeless. Many of these people, including women and children are still living in makeshift camps across the country and in slums on the outskirts of the capital Port-au-Prince with limited access to basic humanitarian services, and disease is now the biggest concern. Cholera is now an epidemic in a large part of the country and funds are urgently required to prevent further spread.
For the latest information from World Vision on the situation in Haiti, please see click here.
Spread the Word
You can also help by sending this email onto friends and family who may also be interested in purchasing the calendar and supporting this appeal.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Lisa, David and the team at Momento Pro in Sydney for their support on this initiative by discounting the printing & publishing cost of this calendar.
Thank you and I look forward to your support.
